Well, imagine your a dev for a second, your sitting in a room full of some of the most boring people on earth and Gaile Grey is nagging you about game updates and thw addition of a gerbil minipet, you have the choice between spending another 30min in the office checking the gender of ghosts or leaving work 30min early and hoping nobody notices that you completely RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed up a mission. Which would you choose?

although theyre not really newly dead. im sure they would have sorted themselves out by now o.O

It would have been nice if the spirits were custom models that matched the statues like the profession spirits in the Crystal Desert, but I can't seriously ask for that...would be nice though.

i think they should give them all the ghostly hero model. if it werent for the beard it'd be hard to guess his gender (is he really that fat or are those...) plus they are all heros, and, um, ghostly^^

Yeah, the whole plotline of the game does seem a bit sketchy to me. Like, as some poepl have also wondered, how did Shiro get to be able to turn everything to Jade with a death cry? Who actually did kill Shiro? Why was Shiro an envoy anyways? And why can't I seem to capture that skill "Tenai's Sex Change"? I need it to get my title.

Not when I looked a few days ago. I didn't really look at the ghosts in the mission, so I'm not sure if those are the wrong gender, but all of the screenshots posted in the thread with the ghost standing in front of their statue are from the explorable area, and the genders are messed up there.

Good points. I wanna know why Shiro did not go after Saint Viktor and Arkumuris. Those 2 WERE responsible for his death. NOT Vizuh. She only made it possible for him to be killed by the Luxon and Kurzick champions. If I was a hell bent ghost looking for revenge after 200 years I would go after ALL 3.

The champions didn't stick around as ghosts. I believe it's the urn and the spear what's left of those two. Probably not very satisfying to take revenge on two stupid objects.

Yeah! Speaking of which, why are the guys who actually *killed* shiro not honored in the temple? You would think that if Vizu was honored as a legendary and revered assassin for it, that Viktor and Archemorus would get also get some statues for killing him. Apparently they just went to "the mists" like every other regular dead person. Perhaps if you are in the mists shiro can't come in there to seek revenge on you, but if your spirit is still loitering around as a guardian, he can enslave you for eternity. Or something.

I tend to keep my distance from the others, working out the gender of ghosts is hard enough as it is.

The ghosts in the temple chose to stay behind as advisors for the emperor. The statues there aren't exactly for public display, since only those of royal blood and whoever goes there with them can enter.
